Mr. Kester Enwereonu

Chairman

Since Powerhouse's beginning in 2001, Kester has been responsible for developing and implementing scores of competitive energy strategies for industrial energy-user clients. Kester has applied his consulting credential to the electric power industry. His combination of regulatory savvy, quantitative analytical skills, and contract negotiating experience provided the foundation for Powerhouse's current market niche. Kester obtained the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1989 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. Kester serves on the Board of flourishing companies including; Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc, Union Allied Engineering Limited and Biowish-West Africa Limited. Others are Trans West Africa Electrics Limited, Virtual Technologies Limited, Bueno Logistics Ltd, Easypay Africa Limited and Inkas Environmental Protections Limited.

Mazi J. C. Nwankwo

Managing Director

Mazi J.C. Nwankwo has had a distinguished career beginning as a Statistician at the Federal Office of Statistics in Lagos in 1979 and as a Lecturer at Methodist College in Uzuakoli the same year. He joined the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) in 1980, starting as a Pupil Traffic Officer in Lagos, then moving through various roles including Traffic & Commercial Officer in Bauchi (1981), Senior Traffic & Commercial Officer in Gombe and Jos (1983), Acting Principal Traffic & Commercial Officer in Kaduna (1986), Assistant Director (Passenger Services) & Chief Marketing Officer in Lagos (1989), Assistant Director (Commercial) in Lagos (1995), Railway District Manager for West in Ibadan (1996), North-East in Bauchi (1997), and East in Enugu (1998). By October 1999, he became the Assistant Director of Operations in Lagos, then Deputy Director of Operations in March 2002, and Director of Operations in September 2002. His career culminated as the Acting Managing Director of the NRC from February 2007 to May 2011.

Skilled in Negotiation, Business Planning, International Business and Entrepreneurship. A Graduated of University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Lagos Business School. He is passionate about helping organisations resolve complex corporate challenges, manage change and improve operational efficiency.

Paul Ndibe

Director Operations (Rail Desk)

Paul is an expert in railway operations, with over two decades of experience at managerial and train network planning levels with the Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC. He was previously the Railway District Manager for Lagos and Eastern Districts of the Corporation. He left the Corporation in 2013, as its Assistant Director (Operations), whose responsibilities covered the system-wide traffic scheduling, planning, timetable setting, rolling stock balancing, strategic business development and human capacity improvements. On leaving the NRC, he joined the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, CILT as its Deputy Director (Finance and Administration), and was involved in transport systems' research activities and intermodal transportation system planning and training. He later became the Institute's National Executive Director, a position he held for six years. 1n 2022, Paul disengaged from the CILT, and joined BUENO Logistics Limited, in 2023. In his capacity as its Director Operations, he became a part of the firm's team responsible for growing it, into becoming the leading logistics provider on the railway network, with a large customer base with interest in container, cement and general cargo services, including the operations of container terminals at its Iddo and Moniya freight terminals. Paul has brought to BUENO Logistics Limited his deep insights into railway operations, various cost reduction techniques and train ordering approaches, which were critical elements in growing a rail logistics services. Paul holds a B.Sc in Accountancy, from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; a Master Degree in Information Science, from the Africa Regional Centre for Information Science of the University of Ibadan and another Master Degree, in Transport Planning and Management, from the University of Lagos. Paul is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, London, FCILT.

Grace Egbunonu

Business Manager

Grace Egbunonu is an experienced business professional with varied experiences in customer relations and satisfaction gathered from her previous roles in the financial and real estate sectors. She has in-depth understanding and experience in conflict resolutions that ensures customer-centric approach to business growth, development and general administration. Developed sound knowledge of the challenges in the Nigerian business environment, having garnered wide experience especially as it relates to corporate and commercial matters, legal documentation, transaction advisory and project financing. Grace obtained the Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Babcock University, Ilishan Remo in Ogun State. She is a certified customer Service Delivery and Exceptional Customer Service Delivery Expert with interest in Business Analysis and Research. Grace currently serves as the Company’s Business Manager.

Uchechukwu Ifediniru

Head, Legal/Company Secretary

Uchechukwu Ifediniru is a thorough and seasoned legal professional with varied experience in business relations and client satisfaction. She has developed sound knowledge of the challenges in the Nigerian business environment, having garnered wide experience especially as it relates to corporate and commercial matters, legal documentation, transaction advisory and project financing. Uche obtained the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State and is a member of the Nigerian Bar. She is a Fellow of the International Certified Risk Management Professionals, UK (ICRMP); Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management (CILRM) and also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria. Uche currently serves as the Company Secretary and Head, Legal of Powerhouse.

Nwogu U. Ikechukwu

Project Supervisor

Engr Uchenna Ikechukwu Nwogu is an Electrical Engineer with experience in power system design and energy auditing. He graduated from Madonna University, Elele Rivers State, Nigeria with Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Uchenna has attended technical training with the National Power Training Institute (NAPTIN), Energy Research Center, UNN on Renewable Energy Systems, National Center for Equipment Maintenance and Development (NCEMD), University of Nigeria Nsukka. He is a corporate member of The Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Registered Engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Fellow Institute of management Consultants (FIMC)/Certified Management Consultant (CMC), as well as member, Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria (ISMN).
